Closer Than You Think
Sierra-at-Tahoe is your closest Ikon Pass resort to Sacramento and the Bay Area. Located just 12 miles south of South Lake Tahoe on Highway 50, you’ll shave significant time off your drive to skiing. Spend more time riding groomers and less time stuck in the red snake of tail lights.
The Soul of South Lake Tahoe
Sierra-at-Tahoe has something increasingly rare in modern skiing: room to breathe. The lift lines actually move. The mountain feels spacious rather than congested. You can take a relaxed break without fighting for every square foot.
This is a mountain built for people who love skiing, not fighting crowds. Families, locals & powder-seekers who’ve figured out that the best days aren’t always at the biggest resorts. Relax. You’re at Sierra.

New Parking Reservation System for 2026/27
New for the 2026/27 winter season, Sierra-at-Tahoe will be implementing parking reservations on weekends and holiday periods, free for passholders and for those with 4+ people in a car. This comes after feedback from guests and our local community regarding the impacts of its first-come, first-served parking model on high-volume days. By implementing parking reservations, the program will give guests peace of mind that parking will be available before they leave their homes, while helping reduce traffic impacts and carbon emissions.
Parking reservations for non-passholders will be $25/day, though certain programs, such as Ski and Ride School, may qualify for discounted reservations.

Playful Terrain, Legendary Terrain Parks
At Sierra, we’re all about play. That’s why for over 25 years we’ve built world-class terrain parks for skiers and riders of all levels, from beginner-friendly boxes to expert-level jumps and rails. Are you ready to experience a new way to ride?
