The holiday weekend is here, and there’s no better place to soak up mountain vibes than Sierra-at-Tahoe. Whether you’re planning full days on the hill, popping up for a few runs and après or having a family tubing day at Blizzard Mountain, here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your holiday weekend at Sierra.

Getting on the Mountain
Parking at Sierra-at-Tahoe is free and first-come, first served, with no reservations required, but your lift ticket doesn’t guarantee you parking. Carpooling is strongly encouraged! The lots open daily at 7AM, weather permitting, so arriving early is the best way to secure your spot.
Already have a Season Pass? You’re good to go—head straight to the chairlift. Save online and purchase your lift tickets in advance to save 40% compared to walk-up and holiday rates. Before checking in, be sure to check the Mountain Conditions Report for the latest updates on weather, trails + lifts. Is your Play Pass blacked out for the holidays? You can still use your Buddy Pass on yourself to snag a lift ticket, or pick up a 3-PAK to ski three days blackout free this season.
How to Have Fun
From wide-open groomers to legendary tree runs, Sierra offers terrain for every style and ability level. Take a look at the trail map ahead of time to plan your perfect day—or explore as you go and let the mountain guide you. New to skiing or snowboarding? Looking to refine your turns? Lessons at Sierra-at-Tahoe make learning fun, supportive + stress-free for all ages and abilities.
Fuel up and recharge with mountain favorites throughout the resort. Grab a meal or après bite at The Sierra Pub, Baja Grill, or Mama’s Kitchen—whether you’re looking for something quick or a place to kick back after your laps, we’ve got you covered.
There’s plenty happening on and off the mountain this week. Check out our events page to learn more.
