About Faction Skis: We started Faction as ski bums – the things we made needed to be affordable, they had to last 100+ day seasons, survive without servicing and be thrown in the cupboard for the summer. But more than anything, they had to increase our stoke factor. They had to be fun. Speaking of FUN: 2 words. Candide Thovex. Not only does he ski on Faction Skis - he skis them on all-terrain, makes it look way too easy and has arguably the most playful skiing style of any athlete in history. ALSO - he set a world record tree stall right here at Sierra.

About Faction Brewing: Faction Brewing opened to the public in December of 2013 in a repurposed 25,000 sq. ft. Marine Corps helicopter hangar on the old Alameda Naval Base with sweeping views of the SF skyline and Bay Bridge. Faction Brewing has dabbled in just about every style but the locals especially love A-Town Pale, only available in Alameda and keep coming back to fill their growlers and tip a few pints with friends.
