Buckle Up Big Air
Buckle Up Big Air is a slopestyle jam for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. The event is held in remembrance of Sierra team rider, Greg Taylor Smith. The event is held annually to honor Greg's memory with a fun day on the slopes, his favorite place to be. This local's-favorite event not only spreads great energy, but also raises awareness about seatbelt safety and the importance of buckling up when in the car.
Jam sessions are an hour long for each class with skiers/riders calling three runs as their comp runs. Judging will be overall impression of creativity and style.
Registration will be open the morning of the event in the Solstice Plaza. The entry fee includes a rad t-shirt and exclusive access to the park for the day. Not to mention, there is cash purse of $1200!
