SUN MAR 30, 6:02AM: 

 

Today’s forecasted high is 35F with SW 20 mph winds gusting to 40 mph at times + light snow showers. These winds could potentially affect upper mountain operations. The storm seems to ramp up tonight around midnight and continue Mon-Tues! Anticipate potential chain mandates on HWY 50, although they are currently not in place as I write this, but at least expect low visibility. 
 
Both YES + RIDE Snowboards will be offering free demos today in the plaza! Also, today is the last day of the Women’s Clinic + be sure to check out live music from Pickle Barrel in the Pub from 2-5PM. The Dragon Alliance Takeover continues today with the Natty Sunday contest: post your best clip of a natural feature found on the mountain! Be sure to tag both @dragonalliance and @sierra_at_tahoe to be entered to win the daily prize stash! 
 
Scheduled operations include Grandview, Nob Hill, Easy Rider, West Bowl, Short Stuff, Rock Garden + 4 carpets + 6 terrain parks! Eateries today: Mama’s, Java, Grandbrew, The Pub, Solstice, 360 and Baja. Blizzmo is open for walk-up tubing only.
